History
Our beautiful church was opened in 1863, the first place for Christian worship in the village of Uddingston. It stands in the centre of the Main Street and for all these years has been a beacon of Christian witness to the village. Internally there have been changes and worship may be more modern and innovative but the message has not changed over the years. We are a member of the United Free Church of Scotland, a long-standing Presbyterian denomination which seeks to communicate the historic truths of the Christian faith in a way relevant to our times. We are already making plans to celebrate our 150th anniversary in 2013.
